Edison Engineers Inc.
I’m a professional engineer and project manager by trade, and a passionate advocate and volunteer with CCI. Professionally my career has been built around working with condos to prepare Reserve Fund Studies and carry out major structural and building envelope repair projects. I’m passionate about working with condos because my work has a direct impact on owners’ lives and finances – it’s an enormous responsibility and gives me pride in my work.
Those who know me know my wife and I have moved around a lot in the past 10 years and I’ve had some great CCI experiences along the way. My CCI journey started out as a volunteer with CCI-Ottawa (now CCI-Eastern Ontario), then moving to Windsor and joining the CCI-Windsor Board (and winning the H. Penman Smith Newsletter of the Year Award as Communications Chair), then simultaneously joined the CCI-London and Area Board (where we won the Lorne Young Chapter of the Year Award in my VP year). I’ve also presented at education events with CCI-Huronia, CCI-Golden Horseshoe, CCI-North Saskatchewan, and on multiple occasions for CCI-Toronto and CCI-National. I’ve been a regular contributor to multiple CCI publications, and as Chair of the CCI-National Resource Content Committee, oversaw the National website updates and creation of the CCI-National Resource Centre from 2018-2020. It’s been an amazing journey.
