Jamie Poodry, MF Property Management Ltd
Jamie is one of the VP’s and owners of MF Property Management Ltd., living and working in the Grand River area. She started managing condominium properties in 2011 and achieved her RCM designation from ACMO in 2013. As part of her role as VP, Jamie enjoys mentoring and supporting other staff members. She is currently a member of the CCI Grand River Chapter Education Committee as well as the Conference Committee and is a speaker at CCI events and occasional contributor to Grand River Chapter’s podcast and blog. Outside of the office, you can find Jamie outside with her husband and two young sons.
Danielle Marks, SV Law
Danielle is the co-chair of the civil litigation practice group and chair of the condominium litigation practice group at the firm. Danielle has extensive experience managing complex litigation matters, including commercial, condominium, insurance, and construction disputes. She has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario, at mediations, arbitrations and before various administrative tribunals.
Daniel Brockenshire, Robson Carpenter LLP
Daniel Brockenshire is a development and condominium lawyer at Robson Carpenter LLP in Ayr. While his primary focus is development, he regularly assists condominiums, managers, and owners throughout Ontario pursuing condominium amalgamations.
Megan Alexander, Cohen Highley LLP
Megan is an experienced licensed paralegal with Cohen Highley LLP. She practices in the Commercial Litigation and Multi-Residential Housing Groups. Her Commercial Litigation practice is focused within the Small Claims Court jurisdiction, including enforcement. She represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants in contract disputes and/or tortious actions. Within the Multi-Residential Housing Group, Megan represents condominium corporations at the Condominium Authority Tribunal (CAT) and property managers and landlords at the Landlord Tenant Board (LTB). In addition to litigation representation, she assists with regulatory compliance and risk management strategies. In all cases, Megan works with her clients to prevent and resolve their disputes by finding practical, cost-effective and sustainable solutions. She prides herself on her open and steady communication with her clients.
Antoni Casalinuovo, Elia Associates
Antoni Casalinuovo is Elia Associates’ senior litigator who specializes in condominium law, and represents clients in a variety of commercial and construction disputes.
With a robust knowledge of condominium law and the litigation process, Antoni is tenacious and works hard to achieve positive results and to advance the interest of his clients in adversarial disputes. Antoni has been the successful counsel on a number precedent setting cases involving condominiums. He has also had a number of judicial decisions and articles reported in a variety of legal and condominium publications, including CM Magazine and Condovoice.
Antoni has represented clients before many levels of Courts and administrative tribunals, including the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court of Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Assessment Review Board and the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board, and is frequently invited to speak at conferences and seminars across the province regarding updates and new trends in condominium law to provide his unique insights.
A self-professed soccer hooligan and recently retired soccer/beer league player, Antoni spends his free time with his wife and three young children. He plans on starting his own soccer team.
